Koenigsegg Agera

The name of the Koenigsegg Agera comes from the Swedish word 'agera', a verb that can roughly be translated as "to take action". And boy, does this car live up to its name! With a 0-100km/h time of 3 seconds flat, a 0-200km/h time of 8 seconds flat, and a top speed of 390km/h the Agera certainly lives up to its reputation as a hypercar.

And if these figures haven't already blown you off your feet, just have a look at it - this menacing monster has perfomance written all over it! A truely gorgeous supercar then, which at speed looks as if it was glued to the road.

In 2011, two years after the first sign of the Agera, Koenigsegg launched the Agera R (an even extremer version of an already bonkers car) featuring a Thule roof box, a feature I'm not too fond of. To date, I haven't found a reason for the roof box (other than just the possibility of adding one) - if anybody knows of a reason, feel free to enlighten me. For now though, here is the Agera.

... and a little look inside ...
